PRESS RELEASE (3rd September 2007)

  Email: Bram

International Performances

To date it has been another busy year for Bram, with successful Folk Club and Festival concerts both in the UK and abroad, performing in Canada and Spain. Bram has recently returned from performing at the Mariposa Folk Festival in Ontario, Canada. Mariposa is one of the largest Folk Music Festivals in Canada and where Bram performed alongside Don McLean and Gordon Lightfoot. For Bram, the highlight of the trip was in meeting McLean and having the opportunity to thank him personally for all those great songs he wrote (Vincent and American Pie to name a couple) which Bram used to sing when learning his trade as a young guitarist in his teens. As a bonus, Bram’s Mariposa performances included a main stage appearance, performing to Don’s audience of over 8,500 people.

Bram: "My first visit to the Mariposa Festival was the pinnacle of my performing career and one of those magical memories which will always stay with me. The audiences were just fantastic.

Bram has also recently returned from performing at the English Folk Club in Cabo Roig, Alicante, Spain and has already been re-booked to appear there next year.
